• Vredestein Extrusions has entered the UK commercial vehicle bodybuilding and replacement markets with a range of custom-designed EPDM weather sealing gaskets to exclude moisture and draughts from cab windows, doors and bodywork.
Based at Renkum, Holland, Vredestein is an established supplier of sealing gaskets to the European commercial vehicle construction and renovation industries. New developments in the Vredestein range include a fireretardent EPDM rubber gasket compound which has passed BS 476 equivalent conflagration tests, and a continuous EPDM window gasket which is claimed to cut installation time by 50%.
This gasket incorporates an anti-stretch reinforcement cord and comes in solid EPDM or co extruded versions for coach and CV applications.
