A DENNISsix-wheeler supplied to /-1. Ritson's Haulage Co„ Ltd., Liverpool, by Perris and Kearon, Ltd., is iflaking two journeys each week to London carrying about 1,000 lamb carcases and 200 quarters of beef. A Davidson insulated container, 24 ft long, 7 ft. IT in. wide and 7 ft. 6 in. high inside, is mounted on the platform body.
The body framework is of hardwood braced with metal, and the interior is arranged to take a load placed either on the floor or suspended from the roof. Exterior panelling is of Kynal 18-gauge material and the interior lining is of 20gauge light alloy. Onazote insulant is employed. Aluminium 10-gauge sheet covers the fin, thick timber floor.
The rear doors, which are of the fulldepth type, are sealed with rubber.
