Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

" GO ANYWHERE" tickets are to be reintroduced by East Yorkshire Motor Services, Ltd., on stage services, following the grant of an amended application last week by the Yorkshire Traffic Commissioners at Bridlington. Mr. W. R. Hargrave, for the concern, said that such tickets had been available until 1941 and from 14,000-18,000 had been issued each year before the war. There was evidence of a demand for their restoration from people who enjoyed them in previous years. The tickets would cast 16s., or 8s. for children, and would be available from May 1-October 31 and allow travel from Monday to Friday each week.' As they were limited to stage services and did not operate at week-ends or Bank Holidays, they would not affect excursions operators, said Mr. Hargrave. Tickets would not be available on Leeds-Bridlington or Leeds-York-Hull services. or between Goole and Howden on the route of the Gook-Scarborough service of the Lincolnshire Road Car Co., Ltd. This company and two other operators withdrew their objections, but Mr. J. Evans. for two other objectors, said that such a facility, was bound to attract day trippers. Goole operators seeking a load to Scarborough on week-days at the existing fare of 8s. 9d. would be at a hopeless disadvantage. Maj. F. S Eastwood, chairman, suggested that the extension of the prcitection of the Goole-Scarborough route to Spalding Moor might meet this difficulty, and Mr. Evans' clients withdrew their opposition.
