A An employee's annual holiday entitlement usually depends on what can be negotiated with his employer.

The minimum statutory annual holiday entitlement laid down in the Road Haulage Wages Council Order RH(96) which was effective from May 24 1972, is for six-day workers, 12 days, and for five-day workers, 10 days.

However, the Road Haulage Wages Council has made new proposals which are still under discussion.
