Both these appointments are effective from July 16. Mr. G. P. Paterson, hitherto sub-manager, Middlesbrough branch, has been appointed manager at Edinburgh branch. Mr. I. Hughes, formerly manager Midland Counties Norwich branch, has been appointed manager at Middlesbrough. Full branch status is granted to Grimsby office and Mr. R. G. Morley is promoted from sub-manager to manager there. Mr. M. F. J. Thompson, formerly resident representative, has been promoted to submanager at Whitehaven.
