DURING the year ended March 31 last, the transport undertaking of West Hartlepool Corporation made a surplus of £13,644, comprising £10.368 on the motorbuses . and £3,276 on trolleybuses. This represents an increase of £3,720 on the previous year, made up of £571 on the motorbuses and £3,149 on the trolleybuses.
The reserve fund stands at £12,691, to which will be added £7,308 from the surplus, whilst the balance will be transferred to the general rate fund.
