AANY operators of commercial 1111 vehicles and thousands of other people in various spheres of businessand industry must necessarily employ " private " cars in the general control of "their undertakings. It seems ridiculous that they should be faced with a heavy impost by way of Purchase Tax if and when they buy new cars. Quite apart from this, this particular tax is a strong deterrent in other directions and is likely to slow down the rehabilitation of that side of the vehicle manufacturing industry.
