Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TN our report of the transport and agrimotor exhibits 1 at the Royal Show, which appeared in our issue of last week, restrictions on apace debarred us from referring to those stands upon which were shown fuels, lnbricants, pumps and containers for them, and other interesting items of supply and equipment. We, therefore, now give a resume of these. They are given in the order of their stand numbers.

Apex motor oils for all makes of commercial vehicle, tractor, etc., and Apex greases were displayed by II. Edward He and Co., Ltd., Hope's Wharf, Hammersmith, London, W.6.

Rubber and wire-bound hose for traction engines, boiler fittings and injectors of all types, engine necklines and lubricating oils were amongst the specialities shown by George Thurlo-w and Sons, Ltd., Stowmarket.

The Anglo-American Oil Co.; Ltd., 36, Queen Anne's Gate, London, S.W.1, had a very nice exhihit including containers for Pratt's Perfection and Aviation spirits and benzoic mixture. In addition there were Golden Pumps for dealing with petrol storage in bulk and the Aneloco Deptheemeter for use with these outfits..

W. H. Wiltox and Co., 'Ltd., 32-38, Southwark Street, London, S.E.1, showed, as usual, the Penberthy injectors for traction engines, road rollers, etc., -patent wire-bound non-rubber hose, various lubticating oils, Fiske greases, and engine fittings and boiler' mountings of all kinds.

Amongst the many exhibits of George Hatch, Ltd., Queenhithe, Upper Thames Street, London, E.C.4, were water lifters for traction engines and road locomotives, packjugs and jointings, lubricators, cocks and valves, lubricating oils, wire-bound and non-rubber hose and engineers' sundries.

William Eddington and Co., Plaistow, London, 1113, also exhibited engineers' sundries of all types, Eddington greases aed lubricating oils, engine packirigs and steel ropes.

The familiar B.P. cans for motor spirit and T.V.O. oils for tractors formed the chief items displayed by the British Petroleum Co., Ltd., Britannic House, Moorgate, London, F.C.2. .Their stand was well finished and equipped with Bowser pumps.

Shell-Mex, Ltd., Shell Corner, Kingsway, London, W.C.2,

had a fine pavilion, in front of which were three Shell pumps. Other exhibits included Shell oil cabinets capable of being locked, garage oils tanks with pumps, and examples of the various Shell petroleum products from their wellknown motor spirits to Mexphalte, one of the most successful bitumens for road work. For tractors and other oil engines there was Empire vaporizing oil.

Buffer motor oils and greases for tractors or motor lorries and light commercial vehicles were to be found on the stand of Hope, Hartope and Co., 43, Gower Street, London, W.C.1. This company also market Buffer boiler composition for preventing scale. Price's Patent Candle Co., Ltd., Belmont Works, Battersea, London. S.W.11, showed storage and delivery tanks for garage use, these holding 100 gallons tnd 50 gallons respectively. Drums of their various oils for all type of motor vehicle and agricultural machinery, solidified oils for ball and roller bearings, gear and grease cups, cleaning oil, Belgraphine for springs, axles, gears, etc. Belmoline for gears and Rangoon jelly for preventing the tarnishing of bright parts were included in the exhibit.

The well-known Gargoyle brae& of lubricant were to be found on the stand of the Vacuum Oil Co., Ltd.,n Caxton House, Westminster, London, S.W.1. These included hlobiloil for various classes of farm machinery and other Gargoyle lubricants for tractors, motor vehicles and ar,'rimotors. In addition there were steel barrels with stillage frames and pumps for the bulk storage of Mobiloil. Finally, there was the Delvae mechanical lubricator.

Specimen cans of various grades of Redline motor spirit and pumps for petrol storage formed the chief exhibit of the Redline Motor Spirit Co., Ltd., 16, Charles Street, London, S.W.1.

Sterns, Ltd., Royal London House, Finsbury Square, London, E.C.2, had on their stand neat garage cabinets with Yale locks for containing Sternol lubricants, special portable containers for oil with pumps attached and separate pumps for attachment to users' own receptacles. There were also tractor gearboxes running at full speed to demonstrate the use of Ambraium, the lubricant for which the well-known slogan "Clings to the Teeth" was invented. Samples of Sterntrac oils and greases for tractors and SternoI lubricants for all classes of machinery were shown.
