Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

is aiming for an 8% share of the UK tractor market according to Chris Thorneycroft-Smith, head of its UK sales and marketing operation. Already the company has five times more forward orders than it had this time last year and Thorneycroft-Smith is predicting a stronger showing in the sector than in previous years.

The Italian truck builder has struggled in the tractor sector over the past few years —2004 registrations fell to just 552, representing a paltry 3% market share. "We also have a strong product and our production lead times are some of the shortest in the industry [at 10-12 weeks]. Both ourselves and the network are in the best shape to deliver and support the product." Thorneycroft-Smith is tight lipped about what initiatives Iveco will be launching during the year, but he's confident it will "surprise some of our competitors".

He was speaking at IvecoS annual State of the Nation conference, where the company analyses the registration figures released by the SMMT.
