TOYOTA IS TO rationalise its Dyna line-up in favour of factory supplied bodies. This year only 10% of products arriving from Portugal will he chassis-cabs for third-party body-buikling;the vast majority will come with aluminium dropside or three-way tipping bodies from Scattolini.
It aims to sell the three-way tip per for the price charged by competitors for a conventional rear tipper.
One new bodybuilding project for Dyna is the Jiffy Banquet, "a sandwich van for the bigger appetite". Toyota is also gearing up for the arrival this autumn of the Hilux Vigo, which is already available in Thailand.
