licence held by M&J Skip Hire of Southall, Middx has been revoked and the company and its director disqualified for ever from getting or holding an 0-licence in any traffic area.
The revocation of the licence also applies to any other company the directors are running.
The ruling follows convictions during a probationary year imposed on M&J Skip Hire and its directors Patrick and Eileen McCarthy by South Eastern and Metropolitan Traffic Commissioner Brigadier Michael Turner.
There was no representative from the company at the Eastbourne disciplinary inquiry, and its 0-licence renewal application was opposed by the Metropolitan Police.
Turner said he had no hesitation in dealing with the case in the absence of a representative because he believed the public's safety to be "greatly at risk".
