• A mother and her two children, aged four years and eight weeks, escaped from their Ford Fiesta after an Iveco Ford Super Cargo carrying five tonnes of fish smashed through a wall and fell on to the car on the A164 in Thurton, near Norwich. Alison Howes survived by ducking between the seats. The driver of the truck, Christopher Grimmer, who works for Lowestoft-based Port To Port Fish Transport, also escaped serious injury.
