• Volkswagen's Caravelle VR6 is now available in UK showrooms, The first models arrived last week but VW anticipates a quick turnover—the delivery time is currently 3-4 months. TDI and SD models are widely available.
• Safety wheelnut manufacturer Disc-Lock has won an order from Avon Fire Brigade, All 74 vehicles in the brigades fleet will be fitted with Disc-Lock safely wheelnuts and they will be specified on all future new vehicles.
• The price for a basket of spares for the MAN 12000 8.163 quoted in our recent test (CM 16-22 Jan) should have been E745; not 21,049 as published.
