He succeeds FERDINAND BEICKLER, who returns to his native Germany as GM vice-president in charge of European sourced passenger car operations.
DAVID OAKLEY has become financial director of Wilkinson Transport, the Lex Service Group's express parcels sub
sidiary. Mr Oakley joined Lex in 1973 as an assistant accountant, and served in the hotel and vehicle distribution divisions of the group, latterly as group financial controller for vehicle distribution.
At Heavy Transport (ECC) Ltd, M. C. HARRISON has become a director of the English China Clays road haulage subsidiary.
The BFI Group has made MIKE GREENAWAY, its Derby depot manager, transport director. He joined the group in February 1977, when it took over J. C. Prout Transport, and was transport manager at Victoria Deep Water Terminal for two years. MIKE ROGERS, who has been with the group for seven years, has become franchise director. He was latterly general sales manager.
NIGEL GREENSLADE has taken over as manager of Southern British Road Services' Welwyn Garden City branch. He was previously membership services manager at the company's Potters Bar headquarters.
