Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A PORTSMOUTH window manufacturer has had its demountable van bodies fitted with hydraulic legs so that they can be lowered right down to the ground. According to the company, Archital Luxfer Ltd, loading the demounted bodies is now even easier and quicker — window frames and partitions can be carried in at factory-floor level. The demountable bodies — originally Abel pneumatic-lift pattern — were converted to ground-loading type by Ray Smith Demountables Ltd, of Botolph Bridge, Oundle Road, Peterborough.

The conversions were made by installing four telescopic electrohydraulic legs in each body, with a separate power pack on a trolley. Rear telescopic posts are inside the body, close to the walls, while those at the front are on the reinforced front bulkhead, and they pull out so that rear wheels of a truck chassis can pass between them.

All the bodies and 14.5-tonne gross Leyland Boxer chassis are interchangeable with one another, says Ray Smith.
