Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

colonies" in the Grays, Essex, district are to be made easier by a travelling grocer's shop built for Pearks. Ltd., by G. Scammell and Nephew, Ltd., 11, Fashion Street, London, E.1. on a Morrison Electricar 20-cwt. Mark VII chassis.

An electric vehicle is chosen as the basis for this mobile shop because of the obvious advantages, in connection with door-to-door delivery.

The large-capacity body is built with wheelarehes, allowing a floor height considerably lower than in the standard body. Exterior dimensions are: Length, 15 ft.; width, 5 ft. 10 ins.; and height, 8 ft. 6 ins.

The van door is at the real, on the near side and is 21-i ins, wide. Step height is 14i ins, and the floor is dropped 14 ins, at the rear to allow convenient serving at the rear counter, which is revealed by opening the hinged upper half of the back of the body.

The deal floor is sectionally removable in the mid-portion over the batteries.

Oak and ash framing carries Plymax panels. There is a display cupboard on each side, measuring 3 ft. 6 ins. by 3 ft. and fitted with toughened glass. Body height in the inside is 6 ft. at the highest floor level.

Shelves and compartments are furnished with polished 10-gauge aluminium valance rails, and there is a fitted till and special boxes for all the inevitable coupons and points. The spare-wheel compartment is on the inside, but is neatly boxed-in. There is a single roof ventilator.

Sliding doors are fitted between the body and cab. The latter has two rearopening doors and there is a single flush-fitting head lamp on the near side. Economy in electricity is important on such a vehicle and little work would, in any event, be called for during the hours of darkness.

There are detachable aluminium.. framed celluloid panels to act as windshields at the sides when the rear counter is in use.

Despite its large body, the .shop is well proportioned, and the finish is of a high standard.
