Exhibitors signed up so for represent all parts of the Sector and virtually every maior player. More than 90% of the industry's tipper bodywork and semi-trailer manufacturers will be there, alongside manufacturers and suppliers of tipping gear and hydraulics, onboard weighers, tyres, axles, lubes, fuels, computer systems and other equipment and services related to the tipping sector.
The Tip-Ex dinner will be held on Friday 23 May; vvell over 300 of the 400 available places have been sold. Topping the bill will be Sid Dennis, the 'Scrap Metal Raconteur', and the Back Beat band.
"Visitors can book tickets for the show in advance for just £4 or for £5 on the door while tickets for the gala dinner are £75 each, including VAT-a reduction of nearly 9% compared with last year," says Dave Tallent, director of the organisers. 'This year Tip-Ex runs from Friday 23 through to Sunday 25 May. As the show takes place over the bank holiday, with many Harrogate Hotels offering special rates, it also means visitors can bring the family and enioy well-earned break."
