Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• On-board weighing specialist Red Forge has developed the first full-body weighing system to gain certification under Class 3 of the UK Weights and Measure Act. The certification gives it "fit for trade" status, permitting its use to issue legally acceptable invoices. This approval requires accuracy to within 2.5kg on payloads up to 10,000kg measured on slopes up to 5%.

The first vehicle to use the system is a Oaf 85CF 8x2 refuse truck which is used by Aberdeenshire Council for trade waste collection.

The Heil Europe Big Bite body is supported by six stainless steel load cells; an in-cab computer system from Welvaarts records customer details, load weight and collection details for downloading to an office PC system for immediate invoice raising.

Customers previously paid a flat rate for collections, but this system means they can now be charged the true rate for the job.
