Ford has returned to market leadership, with 5,737 British built vans sold, but this is still down from 1 9 7 9's 7,8 9 3. Transcontinental sales are down from 46 to 17, and Fiesta vans have dropped from 283 to 262.
BL is back in second place with 4,435 sales, of which 3,116 were Austin-Morris, 547 were Land Rover, and 772 (down from 1,146 last year) were Leyte: Vehicles.
The reductions among t other heavy British builders a equally striking. ERF is clov from 250 to 160, Foden from 1 to 88, and Seddon Atkinson frc 425 to 168. On the other har Hestair Dennis is up from 29 44,
