PROPOSALS by Hebble Motor I Services, Ltd., for ending two bus services in the Halifax aretv, were considered by the Yorkshire Transport Users' Consultative Committee, on Tuesday.

Hebble want to discontinue the Town Gate, Clayton, circular service, and a service between Wilsden and Cullingworth. This follows British Railways' decision to stop subsidizing the services, both of which were started after a railway branch line in the districts was closed two years ago.

A hearing of the company's proposals, set down for December 3, before the Yorkshire Traffic Commissioners, was cancelled. It is understood that there is interest in the matter in high Government circles.
