Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A FRENCH permit concession is available to most vehicles in transit from Dover to Belgium and beyond, says Sealink.

Dover-Dunkerque West ro-ro traffic can travel route No 40 via the frontier post at Ghyvelde/Adinkerke without a French permit.

However, vehicles must not re-enter France via another fron tier point or convey goods tor France. And the concession does not apply to vehicles carrying meat or livestock.

Those vehicles taking advantage of the concession may also carry a full tank of fuel without the French tax being levied on . the balance exceeding 100 litres.

These concessions apply only to this one route, and drivers should report first to the Sealink agent — Angleterre-Lorraine-Alsace (ALA) — in the Terminal Building, Dunkerque West, in order to complete the necessary forms.
