TWENTY 24-tonne Hestair refuse collection vehicles are being supplied to Birmingham City 'Council as part of a major efficiency drive to save around Om a year.
The council has ordered fl m worth of three-axle Hestair Phoenix Majors, Hestair Eagle bodywork mounted on Hestair Dennis chassis.
Birmingham opted for this efficiency drive in preference to selling its refuse collection service to the private sector.
