Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DELAYS ARE likely on a fivemile stretch of the M62 between junctions 11 and 12 while strengthening and resurfacing work takes place until Ocotober.

Work will involve lane closures on both carriageways between Eccles at junction 11 and the Risley turn off at junction 12.

From August 21 the northbound slip road of the M63, leading to the M62 westbound will be closed for about three weeks while work is carried out in the vicinity of junction 11. An alternative route via the M602 will be signposted.

At the end of this period a contra-flow system will be in operation on the westbound carriageway of the M62 between junctions 11 and 12.

The maximum length of carriageway affected at any one time will be three miles and all diversions will be signed.

The Department of Transport has advised drivers to take extra time for journeys, to observe all signs and drive with special care.
