Gateshead's. Suggestion on Appeals: Gateshead . Corporation . has suggested to the Ministry of Transport that where an appeal has been lodged against a decision of Traffic Commissioners granting higher fares, the increases should not come into force until the outcome of the appeal has been notified. The Corporation has appealed against higher fares introduced by Gateshead and District Omnibus Co.
