Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TI-1E EU HAS finally set a firm date for the introduction of digital tachograph legislation.

It was published in the EU's official journal as CM went to press, triggering the 20-day implementation period. This means all new trucks must be fitted with digital tachos from I May.

Also included in the legislation are details of changes to the drivers' hours rules, most of which will come into force in April 2007.

However one significant change has crept into the new legislation drivers will be required to keep 15 days' worth of records available for roadside checks, instead of the current seven days.
