Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I DO NOT believe that David Barlow has been too strong in the language he uses to express his concerns regarding third-party suppliers for service, maintenance and repair to 0-licensed operators, and the implications of these concerns ( CM 30 March), There are fatalities waiting to happen because there is no control over these workshops.

The Traffic Commissioners, with the exception of one, are sitting on their hands along with Vosa on this issue.

We are all aware that it is up to the government to change the wording of the act. However • the TCs and Vosa should be putting pressure on it to change it before a death occurs.

They are well aware of this situation and it must cause them some sleepless nights.

I have been making noises about this topic for three years now with little success. However. I will be there when it does go wrong and I will be ready to remind them of their reluctance to change for the better.
