BROWN/PORTON/JONES
BRS Western has promoted Don Brown to contracts director, responsible for contract hire. He joined the company 40 years ago as a junior traffic clerk at the Liss, Harnpshire branch, and in 1983 became contracts manager at the head office.
Bob Porton, who joined BRS as personnel and training officer in 1974, has become personnel director. His brief is to train employees, recruit new staff, and promote the company in the local community.
Steve Jones is the new finance director, responsible for the insurance and systems departments as well as the company's finance. He joined BRS a year ago as head of finance.
