All rental and leasing contracts for the fleet have been assigned to TIP, which will gain a 10% share of the Finnish trailer market when the deal is concluded on 2 May.

On the trail • Barnsley-based Howard Whitehead (Trailer Sales) is boosting its trailer production from 300 a year to 500 units to cope with increased demand. The company, which produces all trailer types apart from tankers and tippers, also plans to increase its bodywork output and expand its trailer hire and repair services. Its hire fleet will be expanded from 20 to 50 units this year.
