Financial analysis specialist Plimsoll Publishing provides hard business details about a host of industrial sectors, including road transport.

Senior analyst Kevin Solomon reckons CS Ellis is doing OK. "It does not seem to be having too many problems," he says. "Trading stability is good, the company is performing well."

The profit margin dropped 1% between 2004 and 2005 -"a very marginal drop" says Solomonbut this was offset by an increase In turnover over the same period, from E7.04m to E8.07m.
