Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Hexaflex commercial vehicle rear light unit has been designed to deflect away when it hits any obstruction. The light stem houses a heavy-duty compression spring that provides a similar "flick-back" operation to that of some private car wing mirrors. The lens is covered in a wire cage to reduce damage and pilferage of bulbs, etc. Metal parts are zinc plated against rust and corrosion, and, says the company, the light offers a side illumination of 180 deg and twice the light-transmitting area of some other equipment used.

A non-sprung version is available for flat surface fixing.
