Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The first crew cab on a Dodge to receive approval from Chrysler's Special Engineering Orders department has been developed by Knight Engineering Services Ltd, Coulman Street, Thorne, near Doncaster, Yorks.

The cab is a fully tilting unit with a centre line-of-front axle-to-back-of-cab measurement of 39in., plus a further 4in. for the cab locking mechanism.

It is of all-welded steel construction and features a rearward facing bench seat, although a forward facing seat can be easily installed if required. It will accommodate a maximum of four men in the back seat and three in the front, including the driver.

The extra weight of the cab is 5001b more than that of the normal Dodge cab and this is all imposed on the front axle.

To aid the tilting operation, Armstrong hydraulic equipment in the form of a simple ram assembly is fitted on the nearside of the chassis 18in. from the tilt point of the cab. This has the effect of tilting the cab to aid the operation of the main hydraulic circuit operated by a hand pump mounted on the offside of the chassis behind the cab but in front of the fuel tank. Its operation lifts the cab to its full 40deg angle of tilt.
