Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A completely new model has just been announced by Craven Industries Sales Ltd of Andover which is to be added to the firm's recently introduced trailer van range. Known as the Taskvan, the new unit represents a considerable departure in design and construction from the earlier models and has been developed specially to meet continually rising costs — the company stating that with this unit it aims to cut customer's buying costs by up to 100 per van.

Constructed in steel and clad in aluminium, the Taskvan's side panels feature single pitch riveting as opposed to the double pitch riveting on the other trailer vans. Rolled steel sections are used for the. top and bottom rails, instead of aluminium, as well as for the floor-bearer configuration, with pressed steel for the pillars. The unit also has a very robust rear steel frame, new-style doors and door locking gear.

A width of 7ft 1 lin. is provided between interior lining panels, while the roof is of one-piece pressed steel construction with no bows to impede loading..

The economical cost of the trailer, claims Craven, is made possible by the fact that it has been designed as a flow-line production.
