• Pre-profits of Seddon Diesel Vehicles for the year ended June 30 were £1,147,692 from £816,834 after loan stock interest of £142,969. The profit comprises that of Seddon for a full year and that of Atkinson since its acquisition last December.
The profits for Seddon on its own have increased from last year's figure of £816,834 to £838,978.
• The Saltney depot, near Chester, of Oliver Rix (Commercial. Vehicles) Ltd, has been appointed main distributor for the ShurGuide vehicle stabilizing equipment which was introduced into this country last year (CM October 23 1970).
