Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Pre-profits of Seddon Diesel Vehicles for the year ended June 30 were £1,147,692 from £816,834 after loan stock interest of £142,969. The profit comprises that of Seddon for a full year and that of Atkinson since its acquisition last December.

The profits for Seddon on its own have increased from last year's figure of £816,834 to £838,978.
