• On Monday Scotts of Nottingham Ltd, a member of the National Carbonising Group., acquired W. J. Boyes and Son Ltd, ERF distributors for Essex, Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Two depots, at Peckham and Orsett, are involved; both are self-'contained spares and service centres.
Scotts, with c.v. depots at Nottingham, Stockton and Earl Shilton, recently opened a new one at Penrith.
