tion in transport will be made at a London meeting of the International Institute of Refrigeration next year (September 20-23). Evaluation of heat loss, economic and engineering aspects, expected types of traffic growth, and LP gas movement will be among the subjects of papers and discussions.

Of particular interest will be a paper on the use of the proposed Channel Tunnel for international temperature-controlled traffic.

Bowyers go to Polarstream

.TITE 30 trunk vehicles operated on food

distribution by Bowyers (Wiltshire) Ltd., of Trowbridge, are being equipped with BOC Polarstream liquid nitrogen refrigeration system.

At Trowbridge the company has installed it vacuum insulated storage vessel holding the equivalent of 125,000 cu. ft. of nitrogen.

Conditions of Carriage

ANEW set of conditions of carriage has been drafted by members of the RDA and BRS secretariat and the Associations legal adviser. After counsel's opinion has been obtained the draft will go before the RHA executive committee.
