The height and general strength of the kingpost• have been increased and it is now estimated that the heavy-duty taper roller bearings and other moving parts will outlast the expected life of the machine.

A large steering ram is now fitted to give finger-light, full power steering at hydraulic pressure of only 600 p.s.i. and extra heavy-duty ball ends are 'claimed to increase the life of the steering mechanism, The tilt ram hoses are retained by means of a newly designed guide at the masthead and the position of the hydraulic control levers has been revised to give easier operation.
