Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• British bus chassis, made by Seddon with Spanish coach bodies, are becoming popular in the Canary Islands. Many of the coaches, being about 25ft long, are shorter than usual so that the narrow and winding mountainous roads can be negotiated when taking tourists around the islands.

The Seddon distributor in the Canary Islands, Unive Associates Ltd, found that Seddon bus chassis of both the Mk IV frontengined and Mk V rear-engined types could compete against Spanish vehicles if they were bodied in Spain. So a trans-Europe chassis-collection service was organized between the Seddon factory in Lancashire and the Spanish bodybuilders, Ciscar, at Zaragoza, taking two chassis at a time on a Spanish articulated lorry.

Most of the chassis are powered by Perkins 6.354 six-cylinder engines although there are some high-powered Pennine chassis with Perkins V8engines at the back. These are 11-metre-long coaches with 18ft 6in. wheelbases.
