• Norwegian metals supplier Elkem has awarded TDG Linkman the contract to deliver cement additive direct to construction companies throughout the UK_ The contract, worth £150,000 a year, will use two dedicated vehicles, • Somerset-based chilled distributor Langdons has won a five-year contract to supply warehousing and distribution for Proctor & Gamble's new drink, Sunny Delight. Langdons plans to buy 20 vehicles to service the contract.
• Parceline has expanded its warehousing centre in the West Midlands to accommodate a new contract it has signed with US cabinets firm Durham Manufacturinp. Orders taken late in the afternoon will be delivered the next day across the UK and to Dublin.
• Swift Service is to provide next-day nationwide deliveries for electrical products manufacturer Lincoln Electric UK. Swift will collect goods daily from Lincoln's Sheffield base.
• Parcels firm Business Express has won the contract to deliver Roor; new Mother & Baby range of 1,500 products to homes across the UK. BE has 32 depots and two sorting centres.
