B M C Commercials to be Built in Spain : The Spanish Government has approved a manufacturing project in Spain for British Motor Corporation light commercial vehicles and Mini passenger cars. This is being undertaken on behalf of B MC by Nueva Montana Quijano S A (N M Q). Progressive manufacture with major integration of Spanish manufactured components will be carried out.

New Anglo-Belgian Company : Godfrey (International) Ltd., a newly formed subsidiary of Sir George Godfrey and Partners (1-toldings) Ltd., and S A Pcgard of Andenne, Belgium, has set up an Anglo-Belgian cornpany—Godfrey-Pegard and Co. Soci4t. Anonyme—with a capital of 5m. Belgian francs. The company will manufacture for the Common Market a range of Roots:-type positive displacement blowers, gas boosters and rotary pumps.

G M Vehicle Plant in Trinidad : An agreement in principle has been reached by the Minister of Industry, and Commerce with a leading Trinidad firm of automotive distributors for the establishment of an assembly

plant for General Motors' vehicles. This development will give direct employment to some 200 workers. It is understood that the venture will be financed entirely by local capital.
