Road Transport Engineers will mark the 21st anniversary of the inaugural meeting of the Institute with a luncheon at the Europa Hotel, London. Speakers will be Lord Lindgren, Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport; .Mr. William Swallow, chairman and managing director of Vauxhall Motors Ltd. and president of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (1964-65); Mr. Roger Gresham Cooke, immediate past-president of the T E, and Mr. E. B. H. Elsbury, president of the Institute.
Many distinguished figures in the road transport industry have been invited. The luncheon is not restricted to Institute members and applications for tickets should be sent to Mr. J. A. Fletcher, Institute Secretary. 1 Cromwell Place, London, S.W.7; the price is two guineas, including wines.
