• Alan Layton and Percy Powell, based in Vowchurch, Herefordshire, were granted a new one-vehicle Operator's Licence after West Midland Deputy Traffic Commissioner Alan Cattell was told that Layton had come into the business with the idea of taking it over. The DTC was told that Powell had been involved in the livestock haulage sector for more than 40 years.
