WE regret to record the deaths of Mr. A. E. Bonfield, Mr. A. E. Dew, Mr. Walter Epton and Mr. John' H. Wilcox.

Mr. Bonfield, who was manager of the bodybuilding branch of Locomotors Ltd. at Mitcham, Surrey, died recently at the age of 59. He joined Locomotors Ltd. as manager at Mitcham in 1959, previously being general manager of Strachans Successors Ltd.

Mr. Dew, who had been joint managing director of Salisbury Transmission Ltd. since 1950, died last week at the age of 53 after a short illness.

Mr. Epton, who was 65, had been in business as a haulier fOr many years at Boston, Lines, The present company, operating from Frampton West as J. H. Epton Ltd„ was formed in 1960 and Mr. Epton was managing director up to the time of his death. Three of his sons are directors of the company.

Mr. Wilcox, Who died suddenly at the tige of 54; had for the past years been managing director of Midland Hirers (Leicester) Ltd. and a director of A. M. Walker Ltd:, haulage contractors, and Cosby Body Works Ltd. and associated companies, He had also spent 10 years as manager of the Rlaby depot of British Road Services. His home was at Narborough, Leics.
