"THE Prime Minister fast week promised I to make a "very limited" examination of any cases in which old people are suffering as a result of the 1955 Act dealing with concessionary fares on public transport. He told PvI.P,s that his examination• would be confined to any anomalies "eroding the spirit of the 1955 Act "— but repeated that the right method of helping the elderly was with cash rather than concessions.
