rIN Tuesday the Transport Develop
ment Group Ltd. acquired the issued share capital of Thomas Smith Jun. (Newhaven) Ltd., of Pitt Street, Edinburgh 6. The company, which operates a fleet of about 20 general haulage vehicles, was incorporated in 1945.
The consideration for the purchase comprised £46,250 in cash and the allotment of 61,000 T.D.G. 5s. Ordinary Shares credited as fully paid.
The company will continue to be under the direction of Mr. Thomas Smith, the present managing director.
