New Selby A.R.0`. Officers.

Mr. J. A. M. Bright, managing director of A. J. Fryer, Ltd., Selby, was, last week, elected chairman 'of the newly formed A.R.O. Selby Sub-area. The following were appointed to the committee:—Messrs. Studor, Mooney, Watson, Baker, Tilsworth, Harrison, Campey and Earl. BIG PROPAGANDA DRIVE IN YORKSHIRE.

With the object of educating public opinion as to the important part which the road-transport industry plays in the life of this country, plans are being made to hold open-air meetings this summer in many Yorkshire towns, under the auspices of A.R.O.

Mr. Frank G. Bibbings, secretary of the Yorkshire Area, stated this week, in an interview with a correspondent, that the preliminary arrangements for the campaign provide for the holding of not fewer than 25 of these open-air propaganda meetings during the summer months. The campaign will be launched within the next few weeks.
