VOLVO HAS appointed Claes Nilsson as head of its Europe division, following the departure of Roar Isaksen to Plastal Group.
Nilsson is currently in charge of Volvo's international division.The timing for the transition will be determined in the coining weeks.
The Europe division delivered 49,200 trucks in 2006, which represents 47% of the company's total production.Almost 8,000 employees are currently working in the European operation.
