GRAY & ADAMS (Ireland) has won an order to build 42 reefer trailers for McBurney Transport.
McBurney has also taken a further 20 Gray & Adams trailers on contract hire from Grays Rentals — it is the largest order ever taken by Gray & Adams in Northern Ireland.
McBurney managing director Norman McBurney explains that the company placed such a large order after it inherited a number of trailers from its previous acquisitions.
"A decision was taken to replace them with Gray & Adams trailers of a specification normally operated by McBurney Refrigerated Transport," he adds.
