Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

operator Townsend-Thoresen presented the first freight driver to board its Free Enterprise V ferry on the day in question with a "freebee" of a weekend for two in Paris and an engraved tankard.

The lucky man (or should I have said "person") was John Hood who has made more than 500 crossings with Townsend Thoresen during the past 10 years as a sub-contractor for A S Rawlings (Transport) Ltd of Alton. Coincidentally, the company was one of the first freight customers to use the route.

Our photo shows John being welcomed at the quayside by Captain Tone Bonehill, David Donhue (left), managing director of the ferry company at Portsmouth, and Bob Davis, assistant freight manager.
