• Singapore Bus Services is expected to take up its option to buy an additional 100 Leyland Olympian bus chassis to complement 100 already being delivered.
The SBS double decker fleet has been steadily expanded since British Alu minium-bodied Atlanteans were brought in 1977.
Like most of its more recent double-deck acquisitions, the Olympians will have Walter Alexander bodies assembled in Singapore.
SBS has around 3,100 buses including 1,300 Leylands.
