• Peterborough-based Ashley Banks has been appointed UK concessionaire for the SV range of shock absorbers made by Sandman-Nupnau of Finland.
Initially Banks will concentrate on SV's heavy-duty models for trucks, buses, coaches, off-road vehicles and railway rolling stock.
The dampers are designed for operation in temperatures from —40°C to 40°C and are said to be generously proportioned to minimise stress levels. They are fitted as standard to all Sisu trucks.
Repair kits available on all models make reconditioning a simple exercise.
Custom design is a speciality of SV and the company will accommodate short production runs as few as 100 units.
